How can I stop a running executions or destroy an instance that is running?

asked 2018-11-21 10:47:52 +0200

I would like to stop a running execution or destroy an instance that is currently running because maybe I discovered that the data I've chosen are not correct and I don't want to waste computational time o having multiple jobs that are not interesting.

How can I do it?

If I click on "Force destroy instance" or "Destroy instance" I have the following error: "Removing error: 400: Can't delete deployment test_001 - There are running executions for this deployment. Running executions ids: --------"

Hi @lorenzo_sala,

as you can see in this github issue: https://github.com/MSO4SC/MSOPortal/i...

The stop button is a pending feature. If your experiment is in a non-consistent status you should contact support to restore it. The process is not very user-friendly right now. You need to use the CLI of the orchestrator to force the deletion of the experiment.

Here you can see how to use the CLI: https://github.com/MSO4SC/MSOOrchestr...

And here you can use an script to force-destroy the experiment: https://github.com/MSO4SC/resources/b...

Best, Víctor
